I am an Adjunct instructor in the Environmental Studies department at Keene State College. My research interests include forest health and the impact of non-native invasive species in New England forests. A particular concern of mine is the long-term effects of Neonectria fungal infection in American beech trees in New Hampshire forests. Prior to coming to Keene State College, I worked as a wood technologist for a non-profit organization devoted to sustainable uses of forest products and wrote a book on wood identification for woodworkers.
